This project entailed the full refurbishment of the ground and second floor of Heritage House. We were employed to strip out and install new domestic services, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems.
The domestic water services consisted of hot and cold water supplies from central plant to wash hand basins and sinks along with mains cold water to localized electric water heater and instantaneous water boiler.
LTHW heating systems comprised of installation of new pipe work to serve 68 radiators from centralized plant, along with flushing and thermal balancing. The heating system is controlled by the site wide network using local thermostats on a 2-port motorized valve on each floor level.
The air conditioning systems provide heating and cooling to 3 teaching wards, an examination room and an audiology room.
The ventilation system comprised of local extract systems for tea points, along with Heat Recovery ventilation for the teaching spaces and meeting rooms.
All air conditioning and ventilation systems have localized control with main parameters set by the site wide network.
